HERITAGE & FAMILY MONTH
February is Heritage & Family Month. Great events have been planned throughout the month that highlights our cultural richness and celebrates both our natural and spiritual families.
FAMILY NIGHT SING-OFF
Join us on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 7:00 pm for a fun-filled night celebrating the strength, and gift of family. Members of Faith will minister with their families during what sure to be a night filled with love and laughter.
Rehearsal for the Family Sing Off will be held on Wednesday, February 22nd at 6:30pm.
THE GREAT FAMILY FUN WEEK February 20-24 is the "The Great Family Fun Week" at FDCC. Schedule opportunities to spend quality time throught the week (at least 3 days) with you family.
FAITH ACADEMY'S AFRICAN AMERICAN HISTORY BOWL
The students of Faith Academy will particiapte in an African-American History Bowl on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at 4:00 PM.
Ordination and Holy Communion
On Sunday, November 6, Evangelists Corey Herbin and Yvette Wyatt were ordained to the office of Elder. Deacon Essie Scarboro was officially ordained as Chaplin.
We commend Elder Herbin, Elder Wyatt and Deacon Scarboro for their work in ministry and pray that they will continue to be used of God for the up-building of His kingdom.
